I am a doctoral student of Environmental Studies at York University, Canada. Before starting my doctoral studies journey, I worked for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) at the headquarters in Rome, Italy, and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) at the field office in Yangon, Myanmar, mainly on thematic areas related to agricultural risk management and food security. My work at these two UN agencies mainly involved policy analysis, programme management, knowledge management, and stakeholder engagement.

Outside of studies and work, I volunteer with not-for-profit groups in across Ghana ( Ashanti region), UK (Birmingham), and Canada (Toronto & Waterloo) mainly to contribute to projects for advancing youth development, access to water and sanitation, gender awareness, and rural advocacy.

I hold a BA in Geography and Rural Development and master’s degrees in International Development (Poverty, Inequality, and Development) and Sustainability Management.
